Voices from the Relay
Birthday Celebration
Madison, Wisconsin, USA
“I did my run on the Southwest Commuter Bike Path. Before it was converted to a bike path, it used to have train tracks for bringing ice from the Madison lakes! Birthday pancake lunch for recovery!”
Beautiful Location Challenge
Phuket, Thailand
“This isn’t my usual neighbourhood, and I am definitely not used to the hot conditions. It was a warm 30°C/86°F here at 8.00am. I’ll make sure I have some swag and step up the pace for the next relay, but I can’t promise it will be in such a beautiful location!”!”
Privilege of Movement
Oxford, UK
“I followed a Peloton 30min running class. It hit me when the trainer said, ‘it’s a privilege to be able to move our body freely’, so that will be my quote for the week.”
Spring Snow Surprise
Cluj-Napoca, Romania
“It was spring when I left home, returned all covered in snow. 2 minutes into the run it was snowing so hard I could barely see the path.”
