Voices from the Relay
Wildlife Adventure
Bredon Hill in the Cotswolds, UK
“6:49 KM – of cross-country with stops for pics, 20 gates and stiles to climb over, dodging some cows, sheep, and scaring off pheasants. Definitely not about time, but about the enjoyment of getting out.”
Galapagos Challenge
San Cristobal, Galapagos Islands, Ecuador
“My A8C Garmin Smartwatch says that I can run 5Km in 22 minutes. I normally run longer but much slower and I actually didn’t believe that I could do it. So today I tried to run faster than usual.”
Training Motivation
Rochester, NY, USA
“This 5k really was what motivated me to get back into running. I did 8 weeks of 5k training culminating to today’s relay as the 5k race. I’m so happy I can run a 5k for ‘fun’ now, when I couldn’t even run for 20 seconds straight 3 months ago.”
Perfect Traffic Timing
Vilnius, Lithuania
“It was a perfect evening in Vilnius with a completely clear and sunny sky. I was also lucky to hit the green light at almost every traffic light 🟢.”
